Zipline is the world’s largest and most experienced drone delivery service, aiming to serve all humans equally by providing access to food, medicine, and essential goods. They operate the world's largest autonomous logistics system, making deliveries across four continents and completing millions of critical supply deliveries. Zipline's system strengthens supply chains, reduces congestion, and saves people time, with over 140 million commercial autonomous miles safely flown. The company seeks practical problem solvers who thrive on real-world challenges and rapid growth, motivated by building systems with a meaningful impact. The global supply management team is responsible for ensuring Zipline has the necessary parts from global suppliers in a reliable, sustainable, and cost-effective manner. This involves building supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and monitoring performance to mitigate supply risk. The team collaborates with design engineering, supplier industrial engineering, finance, program management, and material management to understand part design, manage supply against demand, drive cost reductions, and streamline international logistics. As a Global Supply Management Intern, you will gain practical experience with the systems, data, and supplier relationships that underpin Zipline's global supply chain. You will work with supply managers, engineers, finance, and operations teams to support sourcing, analytics, and daily execution. This internship is designed for students to apply their academic knowledge to real-world challenges in procurement, logistics, and global operations, directly contributing to Zipline's mission.
