About The Position
The Oatey Intern Experience supports our growing organization by attracting talented students to develop them into future leaders. It is unique with one-on-one mentorship, developmental feedback and coaching, lunch series, engaging networking events and weekly forums. You will work closely with experts to develop your skills and gain valuable insight in your chosen career field. Additionally, you will have exposure to all leadership levels of Oatey. Oatey’s Product Management Team is looking for qualified interns to join our department. Our team focuses on developing product strategies and executing product roadmaps that supports the business unit’s objectives and strengthen Oatey’s position in the marketplace. This intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of Product Management.
Requirements
- Undergraduate student majoring in Business Management or Marketing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter mentality
- Knowledge of Office 365 software including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Nice To Haves
- Consumer packaged goods experience is a plus and will be considered when choosing the best applicant for this internship position.
Responsibilities
- Assesses competitors by benchmarking the company’s products to competitor products
- Participate in Voice of Customer (VOC) research
- Assist in planning and carrying out product launches
- Assist with driving projects through the New Product Development process
- Assist with executing new and existing product/program launch materials
- Assist with the preparation and delivery of training materials
- Carryout daily and weekly product maintenance activities
