About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Product Line Sales Manager based onsite at our Fibrebond manufacturing campus in Minden, LA. Relocation assistance is available to candidates currently residing in the US. In this role, you will be responsible for the negotiations and pricing, planning and implementing strategic short-term company objectives relating to product sales volume, market penetration, pricing levels, and overall product quality; manage and coordinate departmental functions and personnel effectively in order to meet the company’s defined product price, volume, mix, market share and shipment objectives, and to achieve optimum levels of customer satisfaction in all product areas. Fibrebond, an Eaton company, designs and manufactures pre integrated modular buildings and power enclosures that protect mission critical equipment for data centers, industrial, utility, and communications customers. Headquartered in Minden, Louisiana, Fibrebond is known for its engineered to order solutions that support complex infrastructure projects across North America. In 2025, Fibrebond was acquired by Eaton, expanding Eaton’s modular solutions portfolio while preserving Fibrebond’s strong engineering expertise, customer focus, and manufacturing operations in Louisiana.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business/management, sales/marketing or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Five (5) years of experience in product marketing and/or technical sales/service with extensive knowledge of electrical distribution products, including product features, marketing and sales strategies, current market trends, and existing competitive situations.
  • One year of experience managing a team of direct reports.
  • Must be able to work onsite at the Fibrebond facility in Minden, LA and travel as necessary to effectively interface with customers and other required contacts, to work at various outside/activities, or other job related assignment.

  • Ability to effectively price products to attain desired company sales volume and market penetration in light of current market trends, product features, and existing competitive situations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain current knowledge and expertise of product engineering technologies, competitor capabilities and practices, market conditions, and market channels in order to develop short-term and long-term product marketing and sales strategies for the company.
  • Establish and maintain contact with customers for the purpose of effective product marketing and sales.
  • Coordinate customer visits and inspections at the Minden facility to support product marketing and sales functions.
  • Manage the preparation of effective quotations, bids, and related negotiation documentation for all opportunities generated from outside sales.
  • Coordinate customer product orders with scheduling team to achieve production loading objectives at maximum profit.
  • Coordinate customer orders with the company’s engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure effective support in all relevant areas.
  • Respond to numerous technical questions from customers in a timely, concise, and professional manner to support sales in negotiation activity.
  • Prepare monthly forecasts, reports, summaries, and other documentation related to marketing activities, sales, billed, orders entered, backlogs, negotiations, and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare detailed job/project analysis and conduct post-mortem meetings to promote synergy and continuous improvement between sales and production operations.
  • Plan, recommend, and justify annual operating budgets and financial targets in accordance with know operational needs, strategies, and objectives.
  • Provide training, instruction, and guidance to subordinate employees to ensure their knowledge of company products, marketing and service methods, sales, skills, and the effective use of accepted work processes and standards.
  • Manage a team of Division Sales Engineers giving them targets for orders entered and pricing and establishing and monitoring performance metrics.
