About The Position

The Product Line Manager- Aircraft Engine reports to the Director of Engine Product Line and oversees all engine material, both in stock and incoming. This includes all facets of aircraft engine teardowns, repairs, and asset management. The Product Line Manager-Engine is expected to build expert material knowledge. This role requires a self-starter who can work as part of a team and who is willing to assist with all day-to-day operations inherent to a rapidly growing organization.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or minimum of three years’ experience in engine product line management is required.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft engines, modules, LLPs, and aviation aftermarket dynamics.
  • Experience evaluating acquisitions and underwriting assets
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel (Intermediate), is essential.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage diverse projects.
  • Proven capability to build and maintain effective relationships with both customers and vendors.
  • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality in handling sensitive work-related information and products.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical knowledge of aviation maintenance or powerplant operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with the Product Line Director, Inside Sales group, and the Business Development group to ensure a seamless and coordinated service level for the customer.
  • Responsible for assisting the Product Line in the management and sales of the assigned product.
  • Continually monitor market trends and advise the Director of Product Line on developments that may impact the inventory strategy.
  • Evaluate available inventory packages for purchase, considering both historical data and projected needs.
  • Review customer inquiries and price quotes to ensure accuracy and alignment with program goals.
  • Generate and provide monthly reports that measure program performance against key company metrics.
  • Monitor the performance of acquired assets to ensure they meet the financial objectives and operational assumptions established during the original underwriting process.
  • Assess current business activities to identify potential growth opportunities with existing program customers.
  • Regularly review inventory levels to confirm that available materials meet customer requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and communicate any performance deviations to the appropriate departments.
