About The Position

Just Ingredients is seeking a Product Lifecycle & Master Data Specialist in its Quality & Regulatory department in Orem, Utah. Reporting to the Quality & FDA Compliance Manager, this role owns the accuracy, approval, traceability, and consistency of product information across specifications, item master data, lifecycle records, and connected systems. The specialist works with Product Development, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, Accounting, Marketing, Sales, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to support launches, manufacturing, compliance, and reliable reporting. The specialist owns the item master as the source of truth for SKU data and maintains product, ingredient, and packaging records across NetSuite and connected systems. Responsibilities include creating NetSuite item records and bills of materials, maintaining BOM assumptions and revision control, and reconciling related records with manufacturing partners. The role also supports formal change control, systems integrations and improvement projects, and documentation of data management procedures.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to coordinate data changes across multiple teams and systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Supply Chain, Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support the new product stage-gate process by ensuring required product information, approvals, and cross-functional inputs are complete before handoffs.
  • Coordinate product change requests involving formulas, packaging, labels, suppliers, and manufacturing data; communicate timing and impact to affected teams.
  • Support launch readiness by coordinating item setup, required documentation, and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Review slow-moving products and provide data to help stakeholders decide whether to reformulate, discontinue, or take other action.
  • Create, maintain, revise, and distribute approved finished-product, ingredient, and packaging specifications to internal teams and manufacturing partners.
  • Maintain specification revision history, approval records, and supporting documents so the correct approved version is in use.
  • Partner with Quality to manage compliance data, including formulation versions, label claims, certifications and attributes, UPC/GTIN assignments, and record retention.
  • Ensure product and material records link to the appropriate specifications and documents; flag missing, expired, or inconsistent information for resolution.
  • Own the item master as the single source of truth for SKU data; establish and enforce data standards, naming conventions, item structures, and classifications.
  • Keep product, ingredient, and packaging data consistent across NetSuite, digital asset, warehouse and 3PL, e-commerce, and other connected systems; resolve discrepancies.
  • Create and maintain NetSuite item records and bills of materials, including item types, units of measure, preferred vendors, reorder points, and costing.
  • Maintain BOM yield and scrap assumptions and revision control to preserve traceability and historical costing and production records when formulas or components change.
