About The Position

Anchorage Digital is building the world’s most advanced digital asset platform for institutions. As the Product Lead, Transparency, you will own the product vision, strategy, and execution for everything a regulated product needs in order to launch and scale. This includes client onboarding (KYC/KYB, modular onboarding, RIA program onboarding), customer risk rating and ongoing monitoring, sanctions and counterparty screening, transaction risk management (deposit attribution, AML withdrawal questionnaire, travel rule), the case manager and investigations workflows, account restriction frameworks, billing and invoicing, fee calculation, tax reporting, and the customer intelligence layer. You will lead a team of senior product managers across four squads, partner with their engineering and design counterparts, and act as the single point of accountability for Transparency across Anchorage. You will set the strategy that makes Transparency an internal platform that other product lines can integrate with on demand. You will be a trusted thought partner to the Head of Product and the rest of the Anchorage leadership team on how Anchorage scales as a regulated, multi-entity, multi-product platform.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product management experience, including significant time leading PMs and shipping compliance, financial crimes, payments, or banking infrastructure products at a regulated financial institution, exchange, or fintech
  • People management experience leading and growing a team of senior PMs across multiple squads or workstreams
  • Deep financial crimes / compliance product expertise: you have personally shipped or owned KYC/KYB, AML transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, case management, customer risk rating, or travel rule products, and you understand how each of these is operated by Compliance day to day
  • Platform product experience: you have built internal platforms or external API products and understand how to design service contracts, integration models, SLAs, and adoption motions for internal customers
  • Experience with multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction regulated businesses (e.g. national bank, broker-dealer, money transmitter, MAS, EU regimes) and the interplay between product velocity and regulatory obligations
  • Strong technical fluency: you can go deep on data models, APIs, system architecture, and event-driven workflows, and you earn credibility with engineering teams
  • Cross-functional leadership at scale: you have driven outcomes across Product, Engineering, Compliance, Legal, Security, and Operations, and you are comfortable being the single accountable senior product voice in the room.

Nice To Haves

  • Led a compliance product org at a crypto exchange, custodian, or digital asset bank
  • Built or led a banking-as-a-service, custody-as-a-service, or payments-as-a-service compliance/transparency layer
  • Direct experience with crypto-specific compliance challenges: on-chain analytics, deposit attribution, smart contract counterparty risk, DeFi interactions from a regulated entity, and travel rule for crypto
  • Led a billing, revenue, or data platform inside a multi-product company.
  • A background in engineering, equipping you with the acumen to effectively collaborate with technical teams
  • Worked closely with regulators (OCC, NYDFS, MAS, EU) on novel product designs

Responsibilities

  • Own the Transparency strategy and roadmap end to end, balancing platform investment with regulated-product delivery commitments.
  • Drive prioritization across four squads: Onboarding & Monitoring, Transaction Risk Management, Billing & Revenue, and Data Platform.
  • Define and ship the API contract and integration model for Transparency so that other product teams can consume Transparency services as a platform.
  • Build deep working understanding of system architecture across compliance tooling, ledger and account models, screening providers, and case management to set clear engineering requirements.
  • Drive go-to-market and adoption metrics for Transparency as an internal platform.
  • Lead and influence cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, Design, Compliance, Legal, Security, Operations, Finance, and Sales, aligning priorities and decision-making across competing goals.
  • Drive consistent outcomes across multiple jurisdictions and regulated entities, balancing local requirements with a coherent global platform strategy.
  • Own KPI acceleration through product execution: faster onboarding and activation, reduced manual operations cost per case, and increased shipping speed for new products and client segments.
  • Make high-judgment trade-offs where regulatory, operational, security, and product constraints are tightly coupled, while maintaining audit readiness and clear accountability for end-to-end delivery.
  • Deliver company objectives through strategic product decisions that unlock new client segments and product lines while strengthening Anchorage's regulatory moat, grounded in a deep partnership with Compliance and Operations.
  • Build and maintain a high-trust relationship with Compliance and Operations leaders by aligning early on risk posture, controls, and operational realities, and by delivering with predictable execution.
  • Actively contribute to organizational strategy by shaping how Transparency capabilities become differentiators for Anchorage.
  • Define and evolve the Transparency org design, squad structure, and ways of working so that the team scales with Anchorage's growth.
  • Act as the single point of contact for Transparency across the company: route incoming requests, set expectations on engagement model, and partner with other product leads on shared roadmaps.
  • Mediate between Compliance and product/engineering teams, helping Compliance get comfortable with iterative approaches and helping product teams take Compliance requirements seriously.
  • Effectively influence and motivate across all levels of the organization.
  • Serve as an internal evangelist for the Transparency platform, presenting roadmap, strategy, and outcomes to leadership, partner teams, and external clients and regulators when needed.
