About The Position

ASM is seeking a motivated Product Intelligence Engineering Intern to help develop AI/ML analytics applications for semiconductor manufacturing. The internship provides hands-on experience building software for advanced manufacturing environments while working alongside experienced engineers. The intern will contribute to real development projects, learn how scalable backend systems are designed and tested, and gain exposure to the full software development lifecycle. Technologies may include Go, Python, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, gRPC, Linux, and containerized applications. The intern will receive mentorship and guidance while taking ownership of a defined project or set of technical deliverables. The internship includes developing backend services and applications, working with large-scale telemetry and manufacturing equipment data, and collaborating with software, product, field, and engineering teams. Interns will document their technical approach, testing, and outcomes, and present their project and key learnings to the team at the conclusion of the internship. Depending on project and business needs, they may have opportunities to interact with field teams or visit relevant facilities. Interns must follow applicable confidentiality, information-security, and export-control requirements for projects involving secure manufacturing environments.
