About The Position

Parsons’ Digital Engineering Team is seeking an AI/ML Engineering Intern to support research and development across the Digital Engineering discipline, including requirements management, modeling and simulation, test and evaluation, cybersecurity, and systems integration. The intern will learn the Parsons Digital Engineering Framework (PDEF) and contribute to AI/ML application development using Python, work on application deployment kits, and participate in an Agile environment. The position is part of Parsons’ Federal Solutions team, which delivers resources and solutions to U.S. government customers.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computing, engineering, or a related field.
• Must have a GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Must be able to work in person in Centreville, Virginia, at least twice per week.

Nice To Haves

• Python experience, with past projects available to demonstrate.
• Project work and extracurricular experience.
• Previous AI/ML work.

Responsibilities

• Learn the Parsons Digital Engineering Framework (PDEF).
• Assist the Digital Engineering Team with AI/ML application development efforts.
• Use Python skills in application development.
• Work on application deployment kits.
• Work in an Agile environment, including daily standups and sprints.
• Participate in Parsons intern activities and the intern challenge.
