About The Position

Fastenal is hiring an entry-level, full-time Product Handling employee at its distribution center at 4100 Beechwood Drive, Greensboro, NC 27410. The position helps facilitate the movement of products through the distribution center and to company-owned branches. Work includes consolidating and restocking products and moving inventory by hand, pallet jack, or forklift. A flexible schedule may be available after onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

Requirements

Proficient written and oral communication skills.
Proficient computer skills.
Be highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service oriented.
Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.
Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Work independently and as part of a team.
Be willing to work a flexible schedule and extra time as needed.

Lift, slide, carry, and lower packages typically weighing 25–50 pounds and potentially up to 100 pounds.
Pass the required drug screen where applicable in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Guam.
