About The Position

Fastenal is hiring an energetic, team-oriented Product Handling employee for its distribution center in Jessup, Pennsylvania. This entry-level, full-time position helps move product through the distribution center and to company-owned branches. The employee consolidates product, restocks locations, and moves inventory by hand, pallet jack, or forklift. The role uses computer programs, RF scanners, and printers to label product and includes maintaining an organized work area and following health, safety, and sustainability expectations. A flexible schedule may be offered after onboarding and training and once performance goals are met.

Requirements

Proficient written and oral communication skills.
Proficient computer skills.
Be highly motivated, self-directed, and customer-service-oriented.
Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.
Be able to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Be able to work independently and in a team environment.
Be willing to work a flexible schedule and extra time as needed.

Be able to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages typically weighing 25–50 lbs and possibly up to 100 lbs.
Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam only).
