About The Position

Fastenal is hiring an entry-level, part-time Product Handling employee at its distribution center in Edwardsville, Kansas. The role helps move products through the distribution center and to company-owned branches by consolidating products, restocking locations, and moving inventory by hand, pallet jack, or forklift. The position involves working in a fast-paced warehouse and maintaining an organized work area. A flexible schedule may be available after onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

Requirements

Proficient written and oral communication skills.
Proficient computer skills.
Be highly motivated, self-directed, and customer-service oriented.
Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.
Be able to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Work independently and in a team environment.
Be willing to work a flexible schedule and extra time as needed.

Lift, slide, carry, and lower packages typically weighing 25–50 pounds and potentially up to 100 pounds.
Pass the required drug screen in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Guam.
