About The Position

We are hiring a Product Growth Analyst (Contractor) to own performance planning, funnel definition, and growth analytics for Reddit Pro — a new and rapidly scaling product. This role sits at the intersection of product, marketing, and analytics, with a clear mandate: bring structure to growth planning, define the Pro funnel, and deliver clear, actionable insights on performance. You will operate as the single-threaded owner of growth analytics, working closely with Product, PMM, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure targets are clearly defined, performance is tracked rigorously, and gaps are diagnosed quickly to inform decision-making. This is a highly visible, high-impact role requiring both analytical depth and commercial thinking.

Requirements

  • 4–7+ years in Product Analytics, Growth Analytics, or Consulting/Strategy roles
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with product or growth datasets
  • Proven experience analyzing product funnels, conversion metrics, and user behaviour
  • Experience building growth models, performance tracking, and dashboards
  • Strong, structured problem-solving skills (consulting-style thinking)
  • Ability to independently diagnose performance issues and recommend actions
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Data teams
  • Strong communication skills — able to translate data into clear business insights

Responsibilities

  • Own the Reddit Pro growth model and targets
  • Establish and maintain a clear model translating business goals into required user growth, conversion rates, and channel contributions.
  • Ensure alignment across Product and Marketing on how targets will be achieved.
  • Deliver weekly performance tracking and narrative
  • Stand up and own a single source of truth for performance reporting, including weekly tracking against targets and clear “on-track / off-track” narratives with actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Define and operationalize the Pro funnel and metrics
  • Build the end-to-end funnel from user acquisition through to monetization, establishing consistent, trusted metrics and scalable reporting frameworks to track performance over time.
  • Diagnose performance gaps and drive insight-led decisions
  • Independently investigate underperformance, identify root causes across product and marketing channels, and deliver clear recommendations to improve outcomes.
  • Enable cross-functional growth execution
  • Partner closely with Product, PMM, and Data teams to align on growth strategy, clarify ownership of inputs, and ensure decisions are driven by structured analysis rather than ad hoc reporting.
