About The Position

We are looking for a talented 2nd Shift Product Functional Test Mechanical Tech – Level III - OFFC to join our team specializing in Engineering at our facility in Stoughton, WI, US. In this role, you will make an impact by building, repairing, and preparing complex test articles and auxiliary equipment; installing test articles into rigs, tables, cells, and structures; executing tests according to established procedures; delivering accurate and reliable test data; configuring and operating data acquisition systems; applying deep technical understanding of test equipment and product; troubleshooting test stands, laboratory systems, and instrumentation; and collaborating with engineering teams by providing recommendations on equipment upgrades, supplier evaluations, instrumentation specifications, and facility improvements.

  • Execute tests according to established procedures and methodologies, ensuring compliance, repeatability, and high-quality results.
  • Deliver accurate and reliable test data that directly supports engineering decisions, product validation, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Configure and operate data acquisition systems while reviewing and analyzing collected data to confirm test integrity and identify performance trends or anomalies.
  • Apply deep technical understanding of both the test equipment and the product under test to ensure results are valid, meaningful, and actionable.
  • Troubleshoot test stands, laboratory systems, and instrumentation efficiently, minimizing downtime and maintaining operational readiness across the lab environment.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams by providing recommendations on equipment upgrades, supplier evaluations, instrumentation specifications, and facility improvements that enhance testing capability and efficiency.
