About The Position

Circleback is building the source of truth for everything said at a company–starting with best-in-class AI meeting notes, action items, and search. Every company runs on conversations — meetings, calls, emails — but almost none of that context is usable after the fact. We’re building the platform that captures, organizes, and acts on all of it, so teams can actually use what they know. We're a small team backed by Y Combinator. Profitable, growing virally, and thousands of paying customers including PostHog, Browserbase, Gumloop, and more. This is a product engineering role for someone who likes owning problems from idea to production. You'll work across the stack, collaborate closely with the founders, and help shape both the product and how it's built. We're looking for an engineer who's curious, moves quickly, and enjoys figuring out ambiguous problems as part of a small team.

Requirements

Shipped production software and enjoy building products, not just implementing tickets.
Care about users as much as implementation.
Comfortable with ambiguity and like figuring things out.
Improve systems instead of just completing tasks.

Responsibilities

Own features from idea to production across web, backend, desktop, and mobile.
Work on AI-powered workflows, search, transcription, automations, and performance.
Help shape product decisions, not just technical ones.
Experiment with the latest AI models and turn useful ideas into product features.
Build tools and patterns that make the whole team faster.
Work directly with the founders.
