About The Position

Essential Responsibilities: Ensure overall performance and behaviors are consistent with Beckett Thermal Solutions’ Purpose Statement, Core Values, and Guiding Principles. Collaborate with customers to define and refine product specifications, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with performance expectations. Coordinate prototype development and testing with lab technicians to validate design concepts and materials. Analyze test data and performance results to make informed decisions on design adjustments or next-step development actions. Partner with CAD designers to create accurate 3D models and engineering drawings that meet design and manufacturing standards. Develop and maintain complete documentation for product design, testing, and validation throughout the product life cycle. Lead cross-functional meetings with production, quality, and supply chain teams to facilitate smooth transition from design to manufacturing. Support factory implementation by troubleshooting startup issues and verifying production consistency during pilot and launch phases. Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions for product or process issues that arise in manufacturing or field use, including maintaining periodic contact with field service technicians to support them. Manage product revisions and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance, cost efficiency, and reliability. Travel to supplier and customer sites (approximately 12 times annually) to support engineering or sales with product testing, process validation, and technical discussions. Establish priorities for managing own work while staying on a focused, efficient path for achieving results. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements

  • Strong understanding of production processes, material properties, and manufacturing principles.
  • Proficient in interpreting customer requirements, drawings, CAD models, and technical data.
  • Competence in using statistical and analytical tools to interpret test data, qualify product performance, and support quality assurance initiatives.
  • Superior written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • General knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office products. Ability to learn and use new software programs quickly and efficiently.
  • Ability to analyze test results, diagnose performance issues, and implement effective design or process improvements.
  • Ability to manage multiple development stages, timelines, and cross-functional communication between engineering, lab, and manufacturing team.
  • Ability to effectively discuss specifications, present technical information, and build collaborative relationships with customers and suppliers.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with 3D modeling software is preferred.
  • Certified Gas Engineer preferred.
