About The Position

We are seeking a motivated Product Engineer to provide production support for testing methods, procedures, device specifications, and yield issues. This role involves analyzing customer returns, managing supplier-related engineering changes, and implementing cost optimization strategies. You will support minor redesigns of devices, components, and manufacturing processes, and take ownership of devices/components after their transfer into high-volume production. The position supports manufacturing operations (excluding wafer fabrication) and assists customers with device usage and complex product testing. Responsibilities also include supporting the design and planning of manufacturing processes (machining, metal forming, plastics processing, welding, brazing, assembly, material handling), machine and equipment design, and optimizing plant layout. You will define and support fabrication process sequences, incorporate inspection and testing requirements, and evaluate machinery performance, implementing corrective actions. Ensuring compliance with company procedures, quality systems, and regulatory standards is key. The role requires applying engineering principles, supporting day-to-day manufacturing activities, and executing continuous improvement projects (Scrap Reduction, Equipment Efficiency, Cost Reduction). You will also support NCMR resolution, troubleshoot equipment issues using Lean Six Sigma methodologies, analyze data, and maintain process documentation. Executing validations for mechanical and automated equipment and participating in engineering meetings are also part of the role. Solving technical problems and following escalation processes are essential.
