Alan is seeking a Crew Lead for their Acquisition Funnel crew, which consists of approximately 8 Alaners, including 4 engineers. This role is a technical management position responsible for organizing the crew's work and ensuring its output. Crew Leads typically dedicate 40% of their time to individual contributions, actively working on crew objectives. The crew will focus on building and optimizing alan.com, the high-traffic platform where millions discover Alan and convert into members across all markets. They will also power the marketing engine for all acquisition channels (paid, SEO, LLM, etc.) to drive organic and paid traffic at scale, keeping pace with marketing trends and scaling campaigns across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. Additionally, the crew will develop seamless conversion experiences for prospects to become members instantly, from discovery and quote to final signup. The role also supports broader business initiatives such as partnership integrations, accountant tools, referral systems, and brand campaigns that strengthen Alan's market position. Collaboration will be active with Marketing, Sales, Research, and Product teams (Eng, Data, PM, Design). This role offers a dual impact at the intersection of business and product, building systems that drive revenue and crafting user experiences. Results are measurable, with close feedback loops for continuous improvement. The self-serve flows are treated as products, iterated upon using research, data analytics, and user observation. The infrastructure built will be reused across Alan for various purposes, including legal pages, RFP responses, product launches, and onboarding large companies. The code directly drives member acquisition and revenue growth while enabling other teams to execute faster and better.
