About The Position

Responsible for coordinating and managing MIRATECH product development projects. This role involves attending various project meetings, ensuring alignment with product lifecycle strategy, and proactively communicating project details. The Project Manager will also become familiar with the entire MIRATECH product line and processes, provide status reports, manage scope changes, and assist with project budgets. A key aspect of this role is identifying and resolving potential issues throughout the project lifecycle, reviewing technical deliverables, and managing document flow and subcontractors.

Requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Windows and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Project).
Proficient at creating/maintaining Gantt Chart-style project schedules.
Detail oriented while able to look at the "big picture" of a project and Customer relationship.
Customer focused.
Proven ability to manage multiple large to complex projects at a time.
BS in engineering or a relevant major from an accredited college/university.
6-10 years prior project management experience or equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Able to travel up to 20%.
Positive attitude with a good sense of humor.

Responsibilities

Attend checkpoints, gates, and all relevant weekly meetings for product development projects.
Schedule and lead product development project meetings as needed and produce meeting minutes/action items as appropriate.
Ensure the alignment of project plans with overarching product lifecycle strategy.
Proactively communicate regarding all aspects of project, including scope, schedule, commercial, and technical details.
Become familiar/conversant with the entire MIRATECH product line and processes.
Provide regular reports on project status to the appropriate parties.
Manage scope changes which affect schedule, cost, revenue, etc.
Work with Product Development, Sales, Engineering, and Production on preparation of project budget and track actual vs. budget costs (with assistance from accounting) through the project lifecycle.
Identify potential issues at the beginning and throughout of the project lifecycle and work with the appropriate parties (Engineering, Production, Sales, etc.) to resolve before escalations.
Review technical deliverables from product development projects before release.
Manage the flow of documents to ensure consistency and timeliness.
Coordinate and manage subcontractors as needed with MIRATECH production team.
