Requirements

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field.
  • C, C++, or Python

  • Conducting product yield analysis

  • Design flows and methodologies used for chip verification
  • Physical design (PD) process
  • Fabrication of semiconductor products
  • Photonics design

Responsibilities

  • Research, design, develop, and/or test electronic components and systems for semiconductor and related device manufacturing, employing knowledge of electronic theory.
  • Develop automated yield report infrastructure using Snowflake for WS, FT, and SLT data that can be used for all future GPU products.
  • Visualize the analyzed data using Power BI and automate the update for visuals.
  • Support product improvements on driving cost reduction, yield improvement initiatives, and resolving quality issues.
  • Implement ATE platforms and debugged test issues including hardware, software, and product-specific IP.
  • Develop, debug, bring-up, and tune performance of new graphics hardware running on operating systems, utilizing programming and game development principles.
  • Provide multi-layered technical expertise for next generation initiatives.
  • Evaluate all aspects of the process flow from high-level designs to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power use.
  • Utilize knowledge of computers and electronics, including circuit boards, processors, chips, and electronic equipment, as well as knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles.
  • Apply knowledge of engineering principles, best practices, and technologies to the design, development, and testing of various AMD products.
