About The Position

Injective Labs is seeking a Product Designer to work on Injective web products and DAPPs. This role offers a hands-on opportunity in the DeFi space, where the ideal candidate will be responsible for developing creative solutions and collaborating with leadership to shape Injective's products. Injective Labs is a core contributor to Injective, a rapidly growing blockchain platform optimized for building decentralized finance applications, with native integrations to Ethereum, Cosmos, and Solana. The company boasts a team with extensive experience from leading financial and tech organizations, and is backed by prominent firms like Binance, Jump Crypto, Pantera, and Mark Cuban.

Requirements

• 3+ years in a UI/UX design role (experience at a consumer fintech company is preferred)
• Proven experience building excellent consumer-facing mobile and web products
• Experience developing wireframes and prototypes
• Ability to communicate optimally on an ego-free, highly energetic, and cross-functional team
• Excellent Figma and Adobe creative suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)
• Strong information design experience with a solid foundation in UX design heuristics
• Deep knowledge and applied experience in graphic design (layout, typography, color)
• A portfolio that demonstrates love and care for their craft
• A passion for building and creating in a fast paced, start up environment
• Based in North/South America or Europe time zones

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working in the crypto space
• Previous experience working at an exchange (CEX or DEX)

Responsibilities

• Leading design projects across the entire product lifecycle and multiple product launches
• Propagate a strong design practice, influence product strategy, and impact our product execution and quality.
• Partnering closely with engineering, product, and business teams to find elegant but practical solutions to design challenges
• Listening to users to develop the right product strategy and solutions that delight our customers
• Rapidly producing multiple concepts and prototypes; knowing when to apply pixel-perfect attention to detail, and when to make low-fi sketches and prototypes
