Product Designer, LSP44

project44Chicago, IL
$112,000 - $168,000

About The Position

LSP44 is seeking a Product Designer to help define and build its next generation of AI agent and API infrastructure. This is a hands-on role on a small, senior team where the designer will be responsible for creating the interfaces, workflows, and interaction patterns that make LSP44's AI agents understandable and trustworthy for both logistics service providers (LSPs) who operate them and developers who embed them. The role involves end-to-end design ownership for specific areas of the LSP44 agent portfolio, from initial concept and prototyping to the final shipped product. Collaboration with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing, including forward-deployed engineers working directly with customers, is essential to address real operational complexities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in product design or UX, ideally within B2B SaaS or a technically complex domain.
  • Proficiency in Figma and modern prototyping tools.
  • Track record of partnering directly with engineering to ship technical products.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and business stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working across distributed teams and time zones.

Nice To Haves

  • Product design experience in B2B SaaS, logistics/supply chain, or another operationally complex domain.
  • Comfortable operating in a lean, fast-moving, 0-to-1 environment, partnering tightly with engineering rather than through hand-offs.
  • Experience designing for AI-driven, agentic, or automation-heavy products.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process, from research through shipped product.
  • Supply chain, logistics, or freight brokerage experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end experiences for LSP44’s AI agents and embeddable interfaces, including dashboards, exception queues, and agent monitoring and configuration.
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to translate complex logistics and agent workflows into clear, usable designs.
  • Design for two distinct audiences: LSP operators who manage agents daily and developers who integrate LSP44 into their products.
  • Contribute to and evolve LSP44’s design system and interaction patterns as the agent portfolio expands.
  • Conduct or participate in user research and testing with LSP operators to validate design concepts.
  • Rapidly prototype to test agent interaction patterns before significant engineering investment.

Benefits

  • Stock options for all EOR and project44-employed team members.
  • Bonus or commission eligibility depending on role.
  • Health, dental, and vision coverage (varies by country).
  • Retirement plans (varies by country).
  • Paid time off (in line with local market standards and statutory programs).
