About The Position

Ivo is seeking an exceptional Product Designer to join their team in San Francisco. This role offers a unique opportunity to join at an early stage and significantly influence Ivo's product, user experience, and overall design strategy. The designer will collaborate closely with leadership, marketing, and engineering to create intuitive, user-centric designs that meet customer needs. The position requires versatility in both product design and other design disciplines, including branding and marketing collateral.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in product design
Demonstrated experience as a 0-1 product designer, focused on designing exceptional products that ship quickly
A strong portfolio demonstrating thoughtful, user-centered design and measurable outcomes
Proficiency in Figma and modern design and prototyping tools

Experience working in a startup environment is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Lead the entire design and creative process
Work directly with the founding team to define user interactions
Collaborate with founders to define product strategy and roadmap priorities through a design lens
Own all aspects of design, including web, marketing, brand, and product
Optimize for speed, usability, and accessibility
Work in fast, iterative cycles with no backlog
Translate core principles into product: Ship quickly and iterate, quality matters, build what's needed when it's needed
Figure things out independently (FITFO)
Think and act like an owner
