Requirements

  • 1-3+ years of experience working as a designer on cross-functional teams releasing consumer experiences or enterprise products
  • Experience with Figma, with proficiency in components, auto layout, and prototyping for scalable design
  • Curiosity and experimentation with AI tools in design workflows, and a willingness to think critically and learn more
  • A portfolio with recent case studies that demonstrate: Beautiful, accessible, scalable digital experiences that you have shipped; Your approaches to problem framing and solutions, while balancing stakeholder needs and technical constraints; Your ability to use design as a tool to uncover what questions to ask, what solutions to explore, and how to define and measure success; The key performance indicators you used to measure the effectiveness of your solutions; How you have applied and/or contributed to design systems; Your experience working in a cross-functional team of Product, Tech and Design peers.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with your team to ensure that problems, initiatives, and outcomes are well-defined and documented based on objective data.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions and workshops that align your team around clearly defined problem statements and goals.
  • Apply interaction design processes to achieve the right outcomes with your team, focusing on the interplay between words, visuals, space, time, and behaviors of digital user interfaces.
  • Produce work products including journey maps, service blueprints, information architecture, user flows, and wireframes.
  • Design high-fidelity interfaces, conveying visual personality, tone, look and feel, and appropriate flourish.
  • Ensure design solutions utilize and further the team's design system, leveraging or iterating on existing patterns whenever possible.
  • Identify undefined or inconsistent patterns and propose scalable solutions.
  • Encourage and facilitate the shared naming of elements across design and development on the team.
  • Contribute to and lead user and market research activities, and synthesize their results.
  • Leverage a range of mixed methods tools from generative to evaluative, experimentation, and in-market performance to improve work.
  • Track the performance of work post-launch and continue to optimize based on data.
  • Ensure digital products can be experienced by everyone, reflecting the diversity of the communities served.
  • Apply knowledge of AODA design requirements and inclusive design 'grey areas'.
