About The Position

Work with leaders, product partners, and cross-functional team members to define and build user-friendly products that account for functionality and technical constraints. Advocate for customers and collaborate across teams to help deliver a consistent user experience across job seeker and employer journeys. Own work from concept to post-production. Apply system thinking to flows impacting consumers and employers. Create and iterate on sketches, wireframes, user flows, designs, and prototypes. Support complex user flows with careful attention to detail, legibility, comprehension, and accessibility. Partner with product managers, user experience researchers, and engineers to validate concepts and support feasible delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Human Computer Interaction, Information Design, or related field and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience; or a PhD without experience
  • Portfolio showing a clear design process and user-centered product experience work.
  • Proficiency with Figma, AI prototyping tools, and design systems.
  • Experience designing for complex product experiences - e.g. B2B products, data heavy platforms, AI-assisted, personalized, or recommendation-based features
  • Ability to work through ambiguity while balancing strategy, execution, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Ability to apply design methods and existing frameworks to deliver quality work in a timely manner
  • Understanding of accessibility, inclusive design, and native mobile app experience design

Responsibilities

  • Design product features, flows, and interactions that support user needs and business goals
  • Use sketches, wireframes, prototypes, and design system patterns to explore and communicate design concepts
  • Help make AI-powered and personalized experiences easier to understand through clear interaction design, thoughtful states, and attention to usability
  • Partner with product, engineering, research, and design collaborators throughout the design process to test and refine solutions using qual / quant user data
  • Provide design recommendations that help inform product tradeoffs, direction and priorities
  • Support feasible delivery by working closely with engineering during design and implementation
  • Manage and prioritize milestones across projects in a flexible, remote-first environment
  • Contribute to team culture through critique, UX initiatives, or hiring participation
