Emergent builds autonomous coding agents that replace traditional software development by generating, testing, and deploying production applications directly from plain-language intent. Our systems run in production at global scale and are used to build millions of real applications. Since public launch, Emergent has reached $100M ARR in 8 months. 6M+ users across 190+ countries have built 6.5M+ applications on Emergent. Requirements
- 4+ years of experience designing and shipping digital products
- Strong interaction and visual design fundamentals
- Comfortable working on technical or complex products (you don't need to code, but you should enjoy collaborating closely with engineers)
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and make good decisions with incomplete information
- Clear communication and strong product intuition
- High ownership mindset, you care deeply about what ships
Nice To Haves
- Some hands-on experience with code, or a genuine interest in experimenting with it
- Experience designing AI-powered products or systems
- Familiarity with design systems and scaling patterns
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end product design for key parts of the Emergent platform
- Turn complex workflows into clear, intuitive experiences
- Work closely with engineers and product to ship fast, high-quality features
- Design flows, interactions, and UI with strong attention to detail
- Contribute to product thinking and not just execution
- Help evolve design patterns and systems as the product scales
