About The Position

Cimento AI is seeking a Founding Product Designer to address the critical problem of attention scarcity in security. The company uses AI to build security training that effectively changes behavior, offering adaptive phishing simulations, meaningful employee risk scores, and campaigns manageable without external services. The designer will leverage AI tools to work at an unprecedented pace and will be instrumental in defining the future of AI-driven security training.

Requirements

• Four or more years of product design experience.
• Meaningful experience at startups where the full design surface was owned.
• Portfolio showcasing strong UI craft, clear UX thinking, and the ability to simplify data-heavy products.
• Track record of shipping designs and iterating based on user feedback.
• Comfort working closely with engineers and fluency in frontend constraints.
• Strong communication skills, a default to transparency, and the ability to treat ambiguity as raw material.
• Experience with AI design and prototyping tools (e.g., Claude Design, Figma AI).

Nice To Haves

• Experience in cybersecurity, enterprise security, or compliance software.
• Hands-on prototyping with AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Own product design end to end: discovery, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and shipped screens.
• Design the entire workflow for security teams, including campaign configuration, phishing simulation launch, results monitoring, and acting on employee risk scores.
• Address unglamorous but critical aspects of the product, such as permissions, edge cases, error states, and operational elements that build user trust.
• Build the design system (components, patterns, tokens) for future hires.
• Engage directly with customers to validate designs early and incorporate feedback into rapid iteration cycles.
• Shape Cimento's visual identity across product, marketing, and sales.
• Utilize AI design and prototyping tools for leverage, compressing timelines and expanding design range.
