As a Product Designer for Data Products Pillar, you will be at the forefront of shaping how our customers interact with complex sets of data. Your role will involve driving a cohesive vision for how users verify, contextualize, enrich, and manage data across our platform. This is not just about creating beautiful interfaces; it’s about crafting intuitive experiences that make data accessible and actionable.

Requirements

  • Over 5 years of professional experience as a Product Designer, preferably in a tooling or data-centric environment.
  • Data-curious and technically inquisitive, instinctively digging into product data, flows, and artifacts to uncover patterns, edge cases, and opportunities for improvement
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to solve complex, end-to-end design challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly to stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design Stewardship: Lead the design process from ideation to execution, ensuring that our data products are user-friendly and visually compelling.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align on product vision and deliver seamless user experiences.
  • User Research: Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights that inform design decisions, ensuring that our solutions meet the needs of builders.
  • Data Visualization: Create innovative ways to visualize complex data sets, making them easier to understand and interact with for our users.
  • Prototyping and Iteration: Develop prototypes and iterate on designs based on feedback and testing, maintaining a user-centered approach throughout the design process.
  • Strategic Thinking: Apply analytical systems thinking to tackle product complexity and contribute to the overall product strategy.
