About The Position

Resolve AI is solving the massive tax of engineering velocity caused by software maintenance and production troubleshooting by building a transformative, truly autonomous AI Production Engineer that investigates and fixes complex system issues end-to-end. Our founders, Spiros Xanthos and Mayank Agarwal, are the core creators of OpenTelemetry and led Splunk Observability, with two successful exits to Splunk and VMware. We have raised over $190M from top-tier investors including Lightspeed, Greylock, DST, Unusual Ventures, and notable individual backers.

Requirements

• 5+ years designing complex software products.
• Thrive in the 0-to-1 stage, where patterns don't exist yet and the work shipped defines the category.
• Strong command of the fundamentals: interaction design, information architecture, complex flows, hierarchy, typography, and color.
• Deeply curious about users and biased toward action.
• Adaptable and comfortable moving fast on rough ideas one day and going deep on a single flow the next.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a design engineer.
• Experience in observability, enterprise, or AI products.

Responsibilities

• Own design end-to-end for major surfaces of the Resolve AI product, from early problem framing through shipped pixels.
• Define new interaction patterns for AI in production.
• Prototype to think and turn fuzzy problems into tangible solutions quickly.
• Raise the bar on craft across the team and contribute to and evolve our design system.
• Use AI as a thinking and making partner in all aspects of your workflow.
