Product Design Intern - Summer 2027
About The Position
Patreon is hiring a Product Design Intern to support its mission of funding the creative class. The intern will build and ship a feature that supports the creator economy and helps creators turn their passions into sustainable careers. They will work within a product team alongside engineers, product managers, data scientists, and designers, with guidance from an experienced design mentor. The internship also includes professional development opportunities and events with an intern cohort. This is a 12-week summer internship running either May–August 2027 or June–September 2027, designed for students graduating between December 2027 and June 2028. The role is based in San Francisco or New York and follows a hybrid model requiring in-office work three days per week.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Information Systems, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
- Have a creative portfolio showcasing work and a unique approach to presenting ideas.
- Have a strong eye for visual design and attention to craft.
- Be curious, enjoy experimenting with new ideas, and be excited to build from 0 to 1.
- Be eager to learn, adapt, and grow through feedback.
- Have a genuine passion for Patreon’s mission and supporting the creator economy.
- Be graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
Responsibilities
