About The Position

The Product Design Intern will contribute to a scoped design project with guidance from experienced designers, gaining hands-on experience from understanding a customer problem through exploring, prototyping, and refining a solution. The nine-week summer internship runs June through August and provides opportunities to work on real projects, connect with mentors and leaders, and participate in learning and community experiences with the intern cohort. The 2027 internship is based in Seattle and described as remote, with a hybrid schedule in which interns generally work together in person Tuesday through Thursday. Eligible interns will receive a stipend to help offset summer housing and relocation costs. The intern will collaborate with product managers, engineers, researchers, and content designers to balance customer needs, business goals, accessibility, and technical constraints. They will use design system components and patterns, consider accessibility and consistency, review research and customer feedback, support usability testing, and refine solutions based on feedback. They will also learn how to incorporate AI tools into design work while working alongside experienced designers.
