About The Position

Product Design Engineering focuses on designing and developing new or existing products, components, or assemblies. The work applies engineering principles to develop mechanical, electronic, or chemical products that meet customer technical and functional specifications as well as manufacturing cost and efficiency requirements. It includes conducting mathematical modeling to assess whether proposed designs are technically feasible and supporting and participating in the design, testing, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototypes. The role may also involve designing product-specific manufacturing processes and equipment. This is a Technical 2 position. It applies practical knowledge of the job area, typically gained through advanced education and work experience. The role works independently with general supervision, addresses problems that are difficult but typically not complex, and may influence others in the job area by explaining facts, policies, and practices. The stated pay range is USD 97,000–110,000 annually. The position is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria in the applicable bonus plan.

Responsibilities
