About The Position

Infotech is seeking a UX/UI Designer to execute our UX vision and uphold a high craft bar across our full product suite, including the modernization of AASHTOWare Project (AWP). The role involves contributing to Causeway, our design system, by creating components and refining patterns. The designer will collaborate closely with product managers, engineering leads, and a multi-disciplinary design team, integrating AI-assisted tools into daily practice to enhance the team's capabilities while prioritizing craft and user empathy.

Requirements

3–5+ years of experience as a UX/UI designer, product designer, or interaction designer.
A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design, user research integration, and refined visual craft.
Experience contributing to a design system at scale, embedded as a continuous input into agile, sprint-based development.
Hands-on proficiency in Figma, including team library management and component governance.
Experience designing for complex, multi-persona B2B/enterprise SaaS products.
Personal, hands-on fluency with AI-assisted design or prototyping tools, with real production use.

Nice To Haves

Experience in construction, civil engineering, GovTech, or another regulated, standards-driven B2B vertical.
Familiarity with public-sector or standards-body-governed product constraints.
Experience with design-ops platforms and accessibility tooling beyond Figma.
Experience building prompt libraries or design-system-aware AI tooling adopted by other teams.
