Product Data Specialist
About The Position
The Product Data Specialist ensures the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of product information across multiple platforms and systems. The role collaborates with logistics, inventory management, IT, procurement, and warehouse teams to support data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency. By maintaining high-quality data, the specialist contributes to supply chain visibility, customer satisfaction, and streamlined warehouse operations, while ensuring product data supports organizational goals and compliance requirements. The position is based in the Gray Court, South Carolina office and has a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Requirements
- Proven experience with product data management or data entry in a transportation, warehousing, or logistics environment.
- Proficiency with database management systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and quality assurance methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update product data in internal databases and ERP systems to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to gather and verify product specifications, descriptions, and classifications.
- Conduct regular audits of product data, identify discrepancies, resolve errors, and implement corrective actions.
- Support data integration between software platforms to facilitate information flow across departments.
- Generate reports and analytics on product data quality and trends to inform management decisions.
- Assist in developing and enforcing organizational data governance policies and best practices.
