Product & Customer Marketing Manager

LudusAda, MI
Hybrid

About The Position

Ludus builds software for the performing arts. Thousands of theatres, schools, dance studios, music programs, and venues use Ludus to sell tickets, market events, raise money, and manage volunteers. Ludus is looking for a hands-on Product & Customer Marketing Manager to own marketing for every new Ludus product launch and customer initiative. In this role, you will own each launch from early planning through release, help shape the ideas behind it, and turn product information into the words customers see. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports. Join us in our mission to bring people together through shared experiences by building digital tools for performing arts organizations.

Requirements

  • Three or more years in product marketing, customer marketing, content marketing, communications, or a combination of those.
  • SaaS and small company experience preferred.
  • Comfortable with Mac computers and picking up new technology.
  • Exceptional Writing: Writes launch messaging, product pages, emails, case studies, and sales materials most weeks.
  • Comfortable Talking to Customers: Interviews customers without flinching and turns what they hear into finished work.
  • Keeps Things Moving: Runs a launch, a case study, and a content calendar at the same time without dropping one.
  • Curiosity & Industry Knowledge: Genuinely curious about the market Ludus serves and the people who run performing arts organizations.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity. Priorities change, launch dates move, and new ideas show up; adjusts without losing momentum.
  • Holds strong opinions about messaging, but loosely, when the data says otherwise.
  • Takes ownership of the result, not just the idea.
  • Uses AI tools thoughtfully to research faster, test ideas, and produce better work without sacrificing quality.

Nice To Haves

  • HubSpot experience.
  • Competitive analysis and customer advocacy program experience.
  • Performing arts, arts education, or education technology experience, including familiarity with how arts educators and program directors make buying decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Own go-to-market execution for every new product and feature launch, from brief to go-live.
  • Turn product strategy into messaging customers actually understand.
  • Research the market and competitors to sharpen positioning and adoption campaigns.
  • Build and maintain a repeatable customer proof engine, turning interviews into case studies, video, and sales assets.
  • Work with Customer Success to create product updates, launch emails, and educational campaigns that help customers get more from Ludus.
  • Partner with the outreach and engagement team on retention and advocacy campaigns that turn customers into references.
  • Develop content that supports executive thought leadership and customer education.
  • Help shape website messaging and content when needed.
  • Work closely with Design, Video, Content, Outreach, Product, Sales, and Customer Success to align messaging and bring launches to life.
