About The Position
The d.u.h. Group is expanding its Product Cost Management and Design-to-Cost capabilities and seeks an experienced technical cost-management professional to help develop this business area. The role advises customers on analyzing and optimizing product, material, and manufacturing costs, and advances solutions based on Siemens Product Cost Management (PCM). It combines customer consulting with business development, solution design, and the development of internal expertise and services. The position offers the opportunity to help shape a forward-looking business area, contribute ideas and take responsibility. Requirements
- Completed degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, production engineering, or a comparable technical qualification.
- Several years of practical experience in cost engineering, manufacturing-cost calculation, or technical cost management.
- Strong knowledge of industrial manufacturing methods, materials, and production processes.
- Practical familiarity with methods such as target costing, value analysis, or Design-to-Cost.
- Analytical and commercially minded approach, ability to identify optimization opportunities, and ability to explain complex technical relationships clearly.
- Enjoyment of direct customer interaction, strong communication skills, and interest in increasingly applying experience in consulting.
- Ability to work independently, contribute ideas, and actively help develop a new business area.

Responsibilities
- Advise customers on analyzing and optimizing product, material, and manufacturing costs, and develop economically persuasive solutions.
- Analyze cost structures, manufacturing methods, and production processes to identify cost-optimization opportunities.
- Support customers in introducing and using Siemens Product Cost Management (PCM) and implementing Design-to-Cost strategies.
- Work with sales to identify new customer opportunities, conduct technical consultations, support solution presentations, and assist with preparing proposals.
- Develop consulting and implementation concepts and help shape the company's Product Cost Management service portfolio.
- Build internal expertise, share knowledge with colleagues, and contribute to the company's strategic development.
