About The Position

The Product Compliance Specialist leads the coordination and implementation of regulatory and bureau changes, ensuring compliance while supporting complex rate, rule, and form updates and maintaining filing accuracy across designated lines of business. This position offers both remote and hybrid work locations. Candidates who reside within 50 miles of an office location (West Bend, Madison, Appleton) will be offered a hybrid work schedule. Candidates who are fully remote (beyond 50 miles) may occasionally be asked to travel to an office location for in-person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and corporate events.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years commercial multi-line underwriting or product development experience
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Knowledge of personal computers with emphasis on Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe PDF.
  • Time management and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in business, insurance or related field
  • Completion of Program in General Insurance
  • Associate in Underwriting designation

Responsibilities

  • Independently managing the coordination, communication, and implementation of regulatory and bureau changes for designated lines of business.
  • Serving as a key liaison between regulatory organizations and internal teams, ensuring compliance with state and bureau standards.
  • Contributing to more complex rate, rule, and form adoptions, and supporting product implementation and filing accuracy.
  • Coordinating, communicating, and monitoring regulatory changes to designated lines of business.
  • Monitoring, coordinating, implementing, and communicating Rate Service Organization (ISO, NCCI, AAIS, etc.) revisions to designated lines of business.
  • Participating in line of business rate reviews and providing requirements for more complex bureau rate/rule/form adoptions.
  • Inputting, reformatting, maintaining, producing, and revising current forms as needed and maintaining insurance form files.
  • Maintaining bureau manuals and internal lines manuals.
  • Preparing PDF and markup copies of documents requiring filing.
  • Ensuring the compliance of company forms, procedures, and rating programs within state statutes and regulations.
  • Completing rate/rule & form filings with state insurance departments.
  • Navigating and researching systems for new product implementation as well as for defects & incidents.
