About The Position

Revolution Foods is looking for a hands-on Product Commercialization Food Technologist to support the commercialization and successful launch of new and modified food products. This role works closely with R&D, Culinary, Operations, FSQA, Supply Chain, Procurement, and other teams to help move products from development through plant trials and into production. The ideal candidate has experience working in a food manufacturing environment and understands the fundamentals of product commercialization, plant trials, shelf-life testing, specifications, and labeling. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to production, solving problems, and helping bring new products to market.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Engineering, or a related field required.
• 5- 7 years of experience in food product commercialization, food technology, R&D, or a related role within food manufacturing.
• Hands-on food manufacturing or plant experience required.
• Working knowledge of shelf-life testing, specifications, labeling, packaging, and food safety requirements.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across different departments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable spending time on the production floor and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and follow-through.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with refrigerated, chilled, fresh, or ready-to-eat food manufacturing preferred.
• Experience supporting plant trials, pilot runs, production scale-up, or new product launches.
• Experience with ERP, product data, or project management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support commercialization of new products, product changes, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Coordinate project timelines and key commercialization activities to help keep launches on schedule.
• Coordinate and support plant trials, pilot runs, scale-up activities, and initial production runs.
• Confirm ingredients, packaging, specifications, labeling, and other launch requirements are ready prior to production.
• Track project progress and communicate potential issues or delays to the appropriate teams.
• Provide hands-on support during product trials and launches.
• Work closely with R&D, Culinary, Operations, FSQA, Supply Chain, Procurement, Nutrition, and other teams throughout the commercialization process.
• Coordinate project deliverables and follow up with team members on key activities and deadlines.
• Participate in commercialization meetings and provide updates on project status, risks, and next steps.
• Support multiple commercialization projects at the same time while maintaining organization and attention to detail.
• Coordinate and conduct shelf-life and stability testing for new products, ingredients, and packaging.
• Support microbiological testing and product validation activities in partnership with FSQA.
• Evaluate products during plant trials and production runs for quality, consistency, and adherence to established requirements.
• Assist with troubleshooting product, packaging, and production issues during trials and launches.
• Create, update, and maintain product, ingredient, packaging, and production specifications.
• Support product labeling, artwork, nutritional information, and regulatory review processes.
• Maintain accurate product and commercialization information within applicable systems.
• Ensure commercialization documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained within required timelines.
• Support improvements to commercialization processes and workflows.
• Assist with cost-saving projects involving ingredients, suppliers, packaging, and production processes.
• Partner with Operations and other teams to identify opportunities to improve product consistency and production efficiency.
• Support the development and maintenance of commercialization SOPs and tools.
