About The Position

As the Product COGS Manager, you will serve as the strategic financial engine driving product cost optimization and gross margin precision across Everpure’s cutting-edge hardware solutions. Partnering directly with Global Supply Chain Operations, Commodity Management, Engineering, Procurement, and contract manufacturing partners, you will transform complex part-level data into high-impact operational intelligence. This role offers high visibility and functional ownership over standard costing, PPV/IR forecasting, and product lifecycle strategy from NPI to EOL. You will bridge hardware operational decisions with bottom-line profitability, shaping the financial rhythms that enable Everpure to scale efficiently.

Requirements

  • Deep proficiency in standard costing, purchase price variance (PPV), inventory accounting, and cost-of-goods-sold (COGS) financial modeling within hardware manufacturing or technology production environments.
  • Demonstrated experience evaluating NPI/EOL cost dynamics, analyzing design or sourcing trade-offs, and financial modeling related to supplier negotiations and contract-manufacturer operations.
  • Proven ability to establish internal financial controls, create standardized cross-functional workflows, and partner effectively across engineering, procurement, operations teams, and external suppliers.
  • Expertise in converting large volumes of complex part-level and supplier data into actionable operational insights and executive-ready decision tools.

Responsibilities

  • Own the standard cost review process and forecast Purchase Price Variance (PPV) and Inventory Revaluation (IR) drivers to maximize cost accuracy, protect gross margins, and optimize inventory levels.
  • Partner with Global Supply Chain Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Commodity Management, Materials Management, and contract manufacturers to align cost inputs, resolve variances, and establish cross-functional accountability across the supply chain.
  • Perform financial evaluations for New Product Introductions (NPI) and End-of-Life (EOL) transitions, establishing target costs, tracking ramp schedules, and mitigating obsolescence exposure.
  • Build and maintain robust forecasting models, standardized process documentation, and data governance controls to ensure repeatable, executive-ready reporting for close and long-term planning routines.
