About The Position

International has built a new, Industry 4.0 manufacturing facility in San Antonio, Texas to develop leading-edge commercial vehicle solutions to meet the needs of today’s – and tomorrow’s – customers. This new facility has the flexibility to build Class 6-8 trucks along with Electric Vehicles that allow International to add capacity to support anticipated industry growth. Using the Internet of Things (IoT) and connected manufacturing principles, International's newest manufacturing facility will continue growing our market share gains, optimizing our supplier network and improving quality. We are currently seeking a Product Change Management Coordinator to join our plant's Supply Chain/Materials team. A successful Product Change Management Coordinator is responsible for working closely with Engineering, Production/General Assembly, Technical Services, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and several other departments within International. The Product Change Management Coordinator will maintain and schedule engineering change releases by coordinating release break/implementation dates with cross functional groups/plants and monitor/implement the changes through their related production cycles. This will include analyzing and coordinating part break dates based on part availability, manufacturing tooling requirements and availability, parts routing for point of application related to installation and parts delivery, warranty requirements, and several other criteria. Must be able to apply established standards, resolving a wide range of complex problems of diverse scope, including problems where precedent may not exist, while demonstrating good judgement in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. San Antonio Manufacturing runs a 4x10 production schedule (Mon-Thurs, 5:30AM - 4:00PM). This role will support production and may need to cover production recovery times including Fridays and weekends as needed.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree and at least 2 years of Supply Chain, Materials Management, Procurement or Operations experience OR At least 4 years of Supply Chain, Materials Management, Procurement or Operations experience
  • Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
  • We do not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)

Responsibilities

  • Managing relationships with multiple departments within the plant and across other International locations for relevant functional areas
  • Data input and integrity into multiple business systems
  • Maintain bill of materials and parts/commodities within supply chain management and other enterprise-wide systems
  • Perform a variety of complex problem solving and/or analytical activities in support of resolving Engineering Change Orders and their related effects on Supply Chain activities at the plant
  • Document findings, resolve and report any deviations
  • Analyze and perform accurate resolution to any change management issues using related various system records (releases, prints, Bill of Materials (BOM), receipts, purchase orders, mfg. work orders, production transactions, and customer maintenance records)
  • Maintain documentation for scheduled audits for reporting and review by management, as well as internal and external auditors
  • Communicates clearly and tactfully with all peers and management
  • Maintain required metrics and report results
