Veeco's Taylor location is seeking a technically sound applications engineer to help develop new applications and to provide process support. Veeco is well-positioned with great teams, core technologies, and a strong entrepreneurial culture that supports new product development. The main objective of this role is to develop new applications, support customer requests, and develop new products. The application engineer will also discover new opportunities for Veeco to add value either through new product development or existing product enhancements around our core technology. In this role, the applications engineer interfaces with customers, engineering, marketing, sales and service. Advanced semiconductor manufacturers are increasingly relying on laser annealing technologies to improve device performance while minimizing thermal impact on leading-edge logic and memory devices. Veeco's laser annealing portfolio is expanding into new applications across advanced node manufacturing, creating a need for an Applications Engineer who can translate customer challenges into production-ready process solutions. In this role, you will work directly with semiconductor customers, drive development of new annealing applications, and influence future product capabilities. Your work will help customers accelerate technology roadmaps while shaping the next generation of Veeco's laser processing platforms. Based on publicly available information, Veeco continues to invest in its Laser Spike Annealing (LSA) and emerging laser annealing technologies for advanced semiconductor manufacturing.
