The company specializes in designing and manufacturing residential and contract-grade fabrics for a diverse clientele including furniture manufacturers, fabric distributors, and major retailers. This role is crucial for the creation, verification, and costing of new materials.

Responsibilities

Verify fillings and warps for all new production material records.
Create and maintain the Design and Post fabric files.
Process lines and inquiries for all brands collaboratively with Sales Support, Customer Service and Merchandising.
Maintain initial trial and additional ground fabric files for development materials.
Create original costing quotes for all production materials.
Maintain pricing records for all production materials per approval from Sales Management.
Enter and expedite sales orders for inquiry and/or line weaving needs.
Assist with the yarn tab process.
Safely perform all duties following guidelines established by Valdese Weavers.
Report all job-related injuries and safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
Actively participate in safety programs that identify, investigate, and correct safety hazards.
Maintain 5S standards.
