About The Position

Fox News Media is seeking a dynamic, hardworking, and innovative Producer for The Big Weekend Show. The role calls for sharp editorial instincts, the ability to shape compelling segments, live shots, and teases, and calm, decisive judgment during breaking news. The Producer identifies new developments, finds the elements that bring stories to life, and understands how each story fits into the larger show. This position is fully onsite and follows a Wednesday–Sunday schedule.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
2–3 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of skills and demonstrated experience.
Experience working in live television news at a national or top-market news organization.
Experience covering breaking news in both the control room and newsroom.
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
Strong knowledge of news, politics, and current events.
Understanding of how to build and maintain a rundown.
Ability to work effectively under pressure, make decisive calls, remain detail-oriented, and meet tight deadlines.

Nice To Haves

Interest in and experience with line producing.
Familiarity with iNews, Dalet, and Viz.
Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

Pitch and execute fresh, creative ideas for all parts of the show.
Identify and develop on-air story elements, including sound, video, guests, graphics, and live shots.
Monitor multiple sources for new developments and keep the team informed in real time.
Write, edit, oversee, and rewrite copy as needed.
Produce segments from initial concept through air.
Fill in as Line Producer when needed.
Communicate clearly with hosts, directors, and production team members.
Contribute to editorial planning and the daily rundown.
Mentor and help train newer staff members.
