About The Position

Claxton Logistics is hiring a Producer/Director to lead video production for Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. The role produces command messages, patient stories, educational content, event coverage, and social media shorts, and owns every phase of production—from scripting and consent through filming, editing, color grading, captioning, and delivery. Work takes place in clinical spaces and must follow privacy and infection-control rules. Equipment and software are Government-furnished. Employment is contingent on contract award, a favorable background investigation, and verification of education and references. A Public Trust (Tier 2) background check and CAC are required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in film, video production, communications, or a related field.
At least 5 years of professional video experience and a showreel.
Experience with Premiere Pro or Final Cut, After Effects, and color grading.
Camera, audio, and lighting skills.
Experience conducting sensitive interviews in healthcare or a comparable regulated setting.
Knowledge of HIPAA and protected health information (PHI).
Public Trust (Tier 2) background check and CAC required.
Employment is contingent on contract award, a favorable background investigation, and verification of education and references.

DoD visual information experience, including VIRIN and DVIDS.
Captioning and Section 508 experience.
