About The Position

This part-time position is at the Lititz Pike Fresh Foods location and requires day availability between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m., with flexible weekend availability. The Produce Team Member prepares, packages, prices, displays, and replenishes products; maintains department cleanliness and organization; and supports customer orders and sales. The employer provides on-the-job training and leadership classes and promotes team members from within.

Requirements

Able to lift 25–50 lbs.
Able to work in or around coolers and regularly tolerate cold temperatures.
Day availability between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. and flexible weekend availability.

Responsibilities

Pack fruit baskets as needed.
Replenish ice in display cases, where applicable.
Clean the department area, including equipment, containers, storage areas, aisles, and display cases, and keep products and supplies organized.
Operate equipment as needed if over 18 years of age.
Operate the price scale and remain knowledgeable about current prices.
Price merchandise or change price tags using the price list and coordinating with the scan department.
Prepare and promote department samples.
Receive, open, and unpack merchandise cartons and crates, checking invoices against items received.
Promptly clear restocking equipment and debris from the floor.
Prepare, package, and rotate products according to departmental guidelines.
Set up and sign merchandise displays to attract customers and promote sales.
Take and process customer orders according to customer requests, ensuring products are ready on time.
Take inventory or examine merchandise regularly to identify items that need reordering or replenishment.
