About The Position

At Wegmans, the Produce department helps customers live healthier, better lives by offering a variety of delicious and unique fruits and vegetables from around the world. As part of the Produce team, the Produce Stocker works with others to educate customers and ensure fresh fruits and vegetables are available throughout the day. This role suits someone passionate about fresh food and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The position is part-time and based at 675 Connecticut Ave, Norwalk, CT 06857. Morning availability is required, including weekends, and shifts start as early as 5 a.m. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. The pay range is $17.50–$18 per hour.

Responsibilities

Provide incredible service to customers and help them locate what they need.
Keep shelves and displays stocked with fresh fruits and vegetables.
Trim, package, and rotate products as necessary to maintain appearance and quality.
May unload daily deliveries and stock cases, displays, and backroom coolers with new and existing products and inventory.
