About The Position

The Produce & Floral Specialist helps ensure that produce, floral, and gift center products meet freshness and quality standards. The role supports product rotation and dating, planogram execution, accurate placement and signage, ordering and replenishment, and proper receiving and storage. The specialist also supports compliance during item transitions and promotional events, assists with front-end operations during peak times, and provides friendly, helpful service to guests on the sales floor. The position requires a flexible schedule that includes weekends, days, evenings, and holidays, as well as physical work involving prolonged standing or walking, lifting and handling equipment, and exposure to extreme temperatures.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and work at a fast pace.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements, grasp, bend, and reach.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds independently.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods without a break, for up to 4 hours or as required by law.
• Ability to use knives, ladders, stepstools, box cutters, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
• Must wear an approved hat, hair net, and/or beard guard, and personal protective equipment.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Retail, culinary, and/or grocery experience.
• Experience with electronic shelf label systems, inventory management technology, or AI-enabled retail tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure produce, floral, and gift center products meet freshness and quality standards, including proper rotation and dating.
• Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with department leadership on ordering and replenishment of produce, floral, and gift center items.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness, and follow proper receiving and storage procedures.
• Support compliance during key item transitions and promotional events.
• Support front-end operations during peak business times as a cashier or in other areas.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach when on the sales floor.
