About The Position

The Produce Clerk prepares and maintains produce for sale, assists guests with product information and service, and helps keep the produce work areas sanitary. The role also includes assisting with deliveries and performing front-end duties to help ensure guests do not experience noticeable waits. This is a part-time position with flexible schedules. Requirements

Friendly, outgoing personality.
Ability to work well with others.
Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and 25 pounds constantly.
Ability to read and understand information and directions.
Effective communication and guest service skills.
Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with all guests.
Prepare produce for display on the sales floor.
Stock, price, rotate, and display products according to Floco Foods standards.
Maintain the freshness and quality of produce for sale.
Assist with unloading delivered products.
Serve guests by providing product knowledge, preparation information, and product weighing.
Maintain sanitation standards in the backroom, cooler, and sales area.
Communicate guest requests to management.
Communicate temperature breakdowns to management.
Perform front-end duties to help ensure there is no noticeable wait.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
