About The Position

The Prod Tech 3 performs manufacturing and production duties, including operating equipment, monitoring processes, and conducting quality checks to ensure products meet specifications. The role requires knowledge of production procedures and a commitment to safety and efficiency. The technician also supports equipment maintenance, process improvement, collaboration across teams, and training less experienced production technicians.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Demonstrated ability to operate complex manufacturing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and work instructions.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications for data entry and process monitoring.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing or production experience in a high-tech or optical industry.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Perform in-process quality inspections and testing, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Document production data accurately, including material usage, output, and quality control results.
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks and assist with equipment calibration and repairs as needed.
• Follow company safety protocols, quality standards, and cleanroom procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering and other production teams to optimize processes and resolve technical problems.
• Assist in training less experienced production technicians.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
