About The Position

Responsible for performing Supply Management tasks in accordance with industry standard basic practices and techniques. Procurement Specialist may also perform a variety of other Supply Management Functions as required to support procurement activities for assigned projects. This position qualifies for the NANA Worley employee referral program, available only to current NANA Worley employees. This position is located at company headquarters in Anchorage, AK.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent qualification/experience in engineering procurement
  • minimum of 3 years’ experience in Vendor Data process
  • minimum of 1 year experience in material requisitioning process in oil and gas industry
  • Excellent customer service experience required
  • Advanced technical, practical and commercial experience.
  • Leadership and communication skills and an understanding of the need for customer focus in a project driven environment.
  • Proficient in MS Word; MS Excel.
  • Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.
  • Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution and determination of test reliability and validity.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred at least 1+ years in the use and understanding of SmartPlant Materials Software.
  • Experience with SharePoint a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in all FEL phases of project development and planning
  • Obtaining budgetary pricing and lead time on materials
  • Provide current Material Requisition (MR) status on MRs issued to procurement
  • Assisting NW engineering with development of MRs
  • Preforming quality checks of MR for correctness
  • Providing SAP Material Master (MM) numbers
  • Requesting new MM numbers if they do not exist in SAP
  • Preparing and issuing Request for Quotes (RFQs)
  • Receiving and evaluating bids
  • Preparing bid summaries for approval
  • Conditioning bids and negotiating with suppliers
  • Assisting COPA in setting up Vendors when needed
  • Creating Purchase Requisition (PR) in SAP
  • Search for available material is SAP is necessary and work with COPA Material Coordinators on slope to transfer to project
  • Creating Purchase Orders (POs) in SAP
  • Issuing and administering approved POs and change orders
  • Managing Material Status Report (MSR)
  • Review to ensure materials delivery dates align with project schedule
  • Provide option/solutions to Project Team on late materials
  • Lead a weekly Materials meeting which focuses on reviewing outstanding MRs dates are being met to support procurement activities that in turn will support the project schedule and discussing any material issues as identified on MSR
  • Coordinate with NW Quality for SQS inspections and FAT testing as required
  • Expedite Vendor Approval documents to ensure no delays in material delivery
  • Work with COPA Supply Chain on any issues that arise regarding COPA PO Terms and Conditions
  • Verifying accuracy of vendor invoices as required
  • Resolving invoicing issues
  • Negotiating back charges to suppliers
  • Work with COPA to ensure all POs are closed and accounting issues as been resolved
  • Assist COPA in disposing of all project material excess
  • Ensure best practice, continuous improvement initiatives and lessons learnt are understood and implemented.
  • Commit to continuous improvement of your knowledge and identify and implement improvements to NANA WorleyParsons business processes.
  • Adhere to NANA WorleyParsons policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate professional and open communication to all internal and external interfaces.

  • Develop and provide accurate and timely work product for the BP Core Project Program.
