About The Position
We are looking for a resourceful and detailed Luxury Procurement Specialist to join our procurement team at our beautiful facility here in Chelsea, NY. In this role you will be trained to evaluate and appraise luxury pre-owned handbags and accessories (Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Gucci, etc.) from clients online. Working schedule would be Sunday - Wednesday: 9:30am - 6pm and Thursday: 10:30am - 7pm.
Requirements
- Strong research abilities and extreme attention to detail
- Outstanding written, detail-oriented and verbal communication
- Proficient typing skills (30 wpm+)
- Proactive spirit and wiliness to learn, grow and cross-train departments
- Comfortable working in a corporate office setting, sitting for long periods of time at a computer (8 hours per day)
- Ability to work well both independently and in a collaborative environment
- Trend Focused mindset with emphasis on pricing judgement
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in retail, luxury fashion a PLUS
Responsibilities
- Research brand, style, and resale value of pre-owned luxury handbags and accessories
- Assess demand and analyze internal and external sales data to provide accurate and timely quotes to online customers
- Review items in person, including the condition and brand-specific information
- Develop personal strategies for research methods, focusing on efficiency and accuracy
